Among the 17 attendants were former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, IBM Chairman, President and CEO Ginni Rometty etc.
Premier Li later delivered a speech at the U.S.-initiated Leaders Summit on Refugees at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. He called on all countries to make a more concerted effort to address the biggest refugee crisis since World War II.
On the same day, Li addressed welcoming dinner organized by the Economic Club of New York, calling upon the two countries to expand common interest and properly handle differences.
