Joined President Dr Tony Tan and DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam for our National Day Observance Ceremony at the Istana yesterday. After the flag raising and pledge recital, Republic Rhapsody, an a cappella group from Republic Polytechnic, entertained us with a soulful rendition of Singapore songs.
Besides NDP songs like Home and Our Singapore, they also performed Bunga Sayang and Fried Rice Paradise (especially relevant to food-loving Singaporeans). Hope this video puts you in the mood for National Day! - LHL
