This LIVE stream will show the Pegasus XL rocket being launched from an aircraft as part of NASA's CYGNSS mission. This is the second attempt at a rocket deployment over the Atlantic Ocean from Orbital’s L-1011 carrier aircraft, after some technical difficulties on Monday.
Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) is a space-based system aiming to improve
hurricane forecasting by better understanding the interactions between the sea and the air near the eye of a storm. A constellation of eight micro-satellites will be launched simultaneously into low Earth-orbit as part of the program in order to observe hurricane seasons.
