The 600-year-old Chinese Kunqu Opera has taken the center stage in Cambridge University, with 10 top artists from Kunqu Opera House of Jiangsu Performing Arts Group (China) invited to give lectures and performances to students and local residents.
Kunqu Opera was listed as one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 2001.
